I made a mistake in reversing 2 triangle colours and this is what I get;

Block # 3

So far #2 is the one I like the best, I like the “knotty” look. What do you think Peg?

This is the star I made during last weeks Lone Star workshop, Louise was nice, she had extra stash with her and she had the red in the background that will be prefect for my squares.

This is Peg’s, funny how she likes blue and I like purple and we each did the others colours..

This is the reverse side, yes it is a reversable table runner that we took a workshop on yesterday. I will try some machine quilting in the boarders. May help it hang flater.

The Beaver just came out of his workshop with this, if I was a bird I think I would enjoy stoping here for a bite.

This is what my better half ha been up to using his Christmas present!

The one on the left will have holes drilled in the sides so you can add suet, it is for the woodpeckers. The one on the right is a bird feeding station see more pics below.

(note to Peg; see I can share my play area )

And here is the “beaver” in question who is smoothing out the doorways that he made in the bird feeding station. (he just had to try out his new tool a Dremel)

These are the colours that Dany choose for the November Mystery quilt. I want to partice machine quilting so am only making a Jeté size (52″x64″) Wish me luck.

I am taking a course on the Meshwork technique on the 18th, picked up these colours….think this is going to turn out SOME different Will post end result so you can have a chuckle!

And this just because Dany liked it and it was on sale! Who can resist a bargain!?

Yup you heard me right, Dany went fabric shopping with me, what a nice man!

Playing with wool and doing some spinning

Brought some wool for spinning on the last 2 business trips I took to BC & Alberta. Also fell in love with wool and made a new pair of socks for Dany.

Tweed wool I bought in BC

I was able to spin these very fine, I want to double them and make thin wool socks from them to wear at work. Through they were brought already drum carded, I am going to recard the rest of them because I found it very hard on my hands. When I card myself in loose roulags it is much easier on my hands, I can spin for a lot longer (which is a fun/good thing)
